YES IT WAS FINALLY HERE, AND I WATCHED IT UNTIL THE FAVORITE ANIMATED FILM NOMINEES CAME ON AND ONCE I SAW BRAVE WAS NOMINATED, I WAS LIKE.....RotG is gonna lose... ^^; I mean, that movie (which I have not seen yet but sounded pretty cool) had great critic reviews and a lot of people liked it. And OF COURSE, Brave won the award, leaving me crying in a corner, and all my happiness go down the drain. :/ Yeah, it was kinda depressing knowing that RotG didnt win, but, ehh...I SAW THEIR FACES ON AN AWARD SHOW!! CROSSING IT OFF MY BUCKET LIST!!! :excited: lol..anyways, yeah... Still kinda sad though...

WHAT?!!!! oh man.... it's fine T.T But you know what? The movie was good and it really means something to all of us, the fans and the people who created this beautiful movie. Both movies were great and we all enjoyed it :D But at the end of the day, my conclusion is..... RoTG and Brave teach something about yourself : Finding your courage and remembering who you are ^.^ and being thankful for yourself

I love this! I agree and what you're saying is so true! I never really thought of it that way... ^^;

Aaaaaah, I can't get over it. I do like Brave, but I have to admit that the plot is quite weak. Indeed, it is a very good movie, but... I mean, Rise of the Guardians is my favourite animated film ever! The first part of the story is epic, totally! So sad... I hope that it will become a success, despite grossing so little (damn competition, grrr!). It has the potential of being a classic. Well, at least, it has won five prizes already. Let's hope that the Annie Awards bring more luck...

Those are awards specifically made for animation. In two weeks, the results will be out. :-)

Man, Brave sucked. I can't believe it was nominated and that it won. :/ But WTH, it doesn't matter, ROTG is still amazing!!

Corruption, corruption! Corruption and graft everywhere!
:/ Don't gimme that look: We all know it is true. Or how else is it possible that the first reviews to RotG were rather disheartening (later getting better and better) and to push a bit further how can one of the first reviews to the movie have been written half an hour before the premiere ended? I am not accusing anyone but I am just saying that it's just fishy.
Also, wiki says that they did win but now with hearing Brave having won the award I'm a bit confused. Anyone want to explain?

Well, from what I SAW on the Golden Globe Awards live, the category was 'Best Animated Film of 2012' and the nominees were Brave, Frankenweenie, Hotel Transylvania, Wreck-It Ralph, and Rise of the Guardians. They showed the clips of each movie and then the person announcing the winners said it was Brave who won. The director came up and spoke and blah blah blah blah and he thanked everyone and then left. Honestly I thought either Wreck-It Ralph or R.o.t.G Would win but with the reviews I saw online, people actually thought Brave would win, and it did. I haven't seen it yet, but I;m gonna have to. :( I hope this helped! (P.S. DO NOT TRUST WIKI. I;ve learned that a while ago...)
